Entry commentary
In the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, hats were worn by members of all social classes. Hats were used to differentiate between the different classes of people. Different hat styles represent people of different status. I have used hats in this poster to show that in this society there are different classes of people. Different social classes of people think differently. They contribute and influence the society only if the leader listens to what they say. However, ultimately it is the leader who has the power to decide. Was the decision made out of selfish motives or was it made based on society needs?
