An Evening Of Comedy for Teenage Cancer Trust is now jam packed with even more of the finest comedians the UK has to offer.

We are excited to announce that Seann Walsh, Russell Kane, Mike Wilmot and Tom Allen will be joining host Romesh Ranganathan and Jo Brand and Kevin Bridges at The Royal Albert Hall this March, to complete an unbeatable line up of laughter.

The evening is already sold out, but a very limited number of choir seats to the left and right of the stage will be released to give more fans a chance to join in the fun.

Already confirmed to support the amazing Romesh are two longstanding, stand up legends, Jo Brand and Kevin Bridges. This is the event’s 17th year and it is set to be another special one. And, as ever, as well as welcoming some of the biggest music stars, Britain’s best-loved comedians join us for an evening of comedy in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.

The first new addition to the bill, Seann Walsh, is taking a night off from his huge UK tour ‘One For The Road’ to perform. Charming and charismatic, he is a familiar face on TV as team captain on Channel 4’s Virtually Famous and the Guardian described him as ‘Unquestionably the best observational comic of his generation.”

Award winning comedian Russell Kane is also a TV regular and recognized as one of Britain’s best stand ups, garnering both The Edinburgh Comedy Award (previously called The Perrier) and Australia’s prestigious Barry Award. He also took his own hour-long play, The Lamentable Tragedie of Yates's Wine Lodge, to the Edinburgh Festival, which transferred for one night to the Royal Shakespeare Company, Stratford-upon-Avon.

Also set to have the Royal Albert Hall in stitches is Canadian comic Mike Wilmot. Since his stand-up beginnings in ’95, Mike has built up a reputation as one of the unsung heroes of the UK comedy scene achieving rave reviews throughout the country for his unique stand-up. His TV work includes; Live At The Apollo (BBC1) and several appearances on Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC2). Mike also played Paul Kaye’s manager in the award-winning film ‘It’s All Gone Pete Tong’.

Finally, Tom Allen will be taking his sharp, acerbic wit and camp, riotous storytelling to the famous stage. Tom has just supported Sarah Millican on her sold out tour of Australia, New Zealand and the UK and in the last year has made two appearances on Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Comedy Central’s The Comedy Store Presents and the John Bishop Show as well as Channel 4’s Comedy Gala at the O2.
Since 2000, numerous comedy stars have performed for Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall, helping to raising over £24 million. Those incredible shows have played a vital role in helping the charity to provide 28 specialist cancer units and over 60 nursing and support staff in NHS hospitals across the UK, making an incredible difference to young people diagnosed with cancer around the country. This year is shaping up to be one of the best yet with an amazing comedy line up that will add to an extraordinary legacy that has seen unique, once in a lifetime performances.
