Tangerine Screening with Panel

The Birds

692 Leytonstone High Road, Leytonstone, London, E11 3AA

Price: Not available
Time: 15:00-18:00

We're excited to be continuing with the smartphone theme (we've also got a FREE smartphone film festival the day before) with a screening of the amazing Tangerine.

Shot entirely on an iPhone, Tangerine follows Sin-Dee Rella, a transgender sex worker in Hollywood who discovers her boyfriend has been cheating on her.

Tangerine is directed by Sean Baker (The Florida Project) and it premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2015.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion with LGBTQ+ filmmakers, curators and writers in London, looking at how queer filmmaking and DIY filmmaking often go hand in hand. Panel will be open for audience questions and interaction is encouraged. There will be time for more chats and drinks afterwards at the Birds across the road.

*This venue is fully wheelchair accessible, the film will be screened with closed captions in English*

See you there!
