Reclaiming the blues and rock'n'roll for the younger generation, The Daybrakers make hard hitting contemporary rock and energetic future blues. Inspired by artists such as Peter Green, MC5 and Curtis Mayfield as well as musical magpies like Frank Zappa, Prince and Captain Beefheart.

The group combines uptempo fuzzy rhythm and blues with gritty, lowdown raunch but also pays homage to soul of African American roots music via the medium of rock’n’roll adapting these influences into themes relevant to our uncertain times. The group are led Aidan Connell who was recently described as ‘the new voice of London’ by Classic Rock magazine; they have already drawn the attention of London scensters and the rock cognoscenti, with Jeff Beck and Led Zeppelin legend Jimmy Page both recently attending shows.
