Imagine if you went to your local shop to buy tabs, booze or pornography, and all the items had been replaced with cute knitted versions of B&H packs, Stella tins and Razzle mags. I'd be fuming.
Luckily, British artist Lucy Sparrow elected to house her knitted works in an already disused cornershop near Bethnal Green, east London, so no Costcutters, Payless', Nisa Locals, Khan's food &wines, Tesco Expresses, Spars or lesser seen Morrisons M Locals were hurt in the making of this piece.
