My work combines the use of bright flat colours with character design. I like to create work that is animated by populating my work with fun and weird characters and try to retain simplicity by working within a limited colour palette. Drawing is a big part of my work and any piece of illustration I produce always starts out as hand drawn sketches that are scanned and recreated digitally. As well as working digitally I often work in other mediums such as paint, as I like to explore different ways in which my work can be applied and viewed.

The work I create is heavily inspired by my youth in the 90's sat in front of the TV watching cartoons such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Biker Mice from Mars and Street Sharks to name only a few. I am part of Puck Collective which is a collection of 40 illustrators and artists. Being surrounded by and working with so many great illustrators constantly inspires me to create better work and I get a real buzz from being around awesome people that do great work.

I want to continue to push myself by exploring different forms in which my illustration appears and also play around with the scale as it would be awesome to see my characters created on a large scale. But ultimately I just want to be able to continue to make work everyday as I love what I do.
