Most of my work is quite bold and graphic, a combination of flat colour and line. I really enjoy working with the idea of print being the final result, screen-printing is a passion of mine and i kind of let that inform how I produce images. I also paint but still use quite a limited pallet. I like the process of printing and painting, its nice to begin with a drawing or a sketch and then see it develop and have something real that you can hold at the end.

I am inspired by all sorts really, working amongst other creative people is really important for me, the studio at uni is good for that. I also really like old packaging and logos and have a bit of a thing for sardine tins and fish in general. I also Paint graffiti but seem to keep it quite separate from my illustration, its not really a deliberate thing but I quite like it that way.

Id like to just keep making work and putting it out there and see where it goes really, I’m not really sure what I want to do in terms of a career yet. My self and partner in crime Kleiner Shames work under a collective name “Check Your Bad Self”, we have done a number of art based Charity events, exhibitions and workshops and well as printing and selling tee shirts and clothing. I suppose we will push that side of things once ive graduated.
