The smart guys at London's DBLG recently put together this in-house animation called Bears on Stairs, that combined old school stop motion techniques paired with modern 3D printing. The laborious process involved printing 50 tiny sculptures which had to be photographed one by one over a period of 4 weeks, all for just two seconds of animation. See more over at DBLG
