13 years ago today, Chappelle's Show debuted on Comedy Central. The programme (which Dave Chappelle co-wrote with fellow humourist Neal Brennan) became immensely well-known despite its short overall run; this was down to Chappelle's willingness to mock pretty much anything, whether it's a ludicrous crackhead, the U.S. political system or washed up pop star Rick James. It drew critical acclaim yet a lot of controversy and by series three Chappelle felt burnt out by it, which resulted in only two full series and a handful of other episodes.
After all that time, let's see how it holds up (pretty well, all things considered).
