CHRIS O'DONOVAN - STEREOVISION

The GIFs are part of a series called Stereovision. Chris creates the images using a Nishika N8000, an insectile looking camera which captures 3D photos using a process incorporating four lenses and a technique called stereoscopy. I'm probably not the guy to explain the mechanics.

Technicalities aside, the real wonders lie in his use of props. Couple them with the minimal movements of the GIFs and you're flying down the rabbit-hole at full speed.

Broken Glittering Kinglet

Quarrelsome Potable Ankolewatusi

Arid Major Ant

Alienated Dearest Kronosaurus

Green Weird Bellsnake

Blushing Unhealthy Bear

Head to Chris' website for more of his work.
