The artists focus on exploring imagery and vision using image processing technology. In this instance, they've used software to create an average face for a movie by detecting faces from every 24 frames and rolling them all in to one, creating an 'average' face.

The logic of such face orgy mathematics is to 'reflect the original movie's identity better.' Kimyonghun tells Wired UK the project 'might also convey information about the movie: many people featured in it, the cinematographers shot in various angles and so on.'

The resulting images are totally eerie. Below are some from the project, entitled 'Portrait.'
