DAVID HOCKNEY REDESIGNS THE SUN'S LOGO FOR SPECIAL EDITION

Much loved British painter David Hockney is soon to be the subject of a Tate Britain retrospective, where 160 artworks spanning decades will be exhibited. For today's edition of The Sun, Hockney redesigned the newspaper's masthead in a fairly literal way:

This new piece by the Yorkshire-born artist reflects his formidable work ethic and willingness to embrace new technology to enhance his work; yep, he banged it out on an iPad (many of his recent works have been created using this medium). The publication has gushed about people being able to own their own Hockney piece, here's a few other memorable issues you might remember:
