The V&A is currently running an exhibition called Disobedient Objects, which examines how social activism and political disobedience inspire ingenuity, resourcefulness and design. Expect to see decorated barricades, woven protest banners, improvised tear-gas masks and all sorts of objects that have been manipulated and transformed for the sake of a cause.
The exhibition's website has even provided PDFs to show you how to make a bucket pamphlet bomb, as well as the aforementioned make-shift tear-gas mask:
The exhibition runs from 26 July 2014 to 1 February 2015 at the V&A.
