Groups of dancers, artists and performers have squeezed onboard with Australian artist Willis Dorner and his project to fit human bodies around (and inside) urban spaces. The partakers run around high streets and malls in brightly coloured clothes, fitting themselves into all nooks and crannies for this collaboration between bodies and space. Since 2007 they have travelled through Paris, Austria, Portugal, the United States, the UK, Germany, and Spain, just to mention a few.
"By placing the bodies in selected spots, the interventions provoke a thinking process and produce irritation. Passers by, residents, and audience are motivated and prompted to reflect on their urban surrounding and on their own movement, behaviour, and habits." – Dorner
