The first and only UK jewellery company to use a combination of precious metals and recycled skateboards have released their new SS15 collection, ‘Billiards and Bullion’.
Each individual piece of Thrashion Recycled Skateboard Jewellery features Thrashion’s unique skateboard inlay and varying precious metals including silver, platinum and gold.
One piece of jewellery will be released per day on the Trashion website – like the limited edition Billiard’s Double Take pendant, inspired by the stripe found in a billiards ball and in the seven ply stripe of a skateboard.
Creative Director and designer Nat said 'We wanted to build on the success of our ‘bearing’ inspired collection which was our first dabble with mixing recycled skateboards and precious metals. These sold out so quickly we had to make another series in the run up to Christmas.'
The original designs of Thrashion have earned them support within the jewellery industry and their products can be found in stockists such as Tate Enterprises, amongst many others both in the UK and worldwide.
Thrashion is a 100% skater run and owned business, recycling up to 50% of the UK’s skateboarding industry’s skateboards through their studio in Cornwall.
You can now see and purchase the new designs exclusively on their website and see where their skateboards come from below.
