The Wayward Gallery is a key creative hub in east London. Born of the city’s skateboard culture, with a truly DIY ethos and underground sensibility, it is now firmly established in the area’s contemporary art scene. The gallery provides a vital exhibition and studio space for established and up-and-coming artists from all over the world, as well as being the go-to spot for skate video premieres and launch parties.
Here's what our pals at the gallery had to say...
The Wayward gallery is in need of a cash injection to enable it to stay in its current location. The rent has gone up to silly levels and funding is at a minimum. It would enable us to keep on keeping on and bring more love to the community by continuing to provide free art shows, film premieres and launches to you by not having to close our doors permanently
Hopefully the Wayward has brought you inspiration and good times and with a bit of luck can continue to do so.
Check out the video, and keep scrolling for some of the great stuff they've hosted in the past.
