Whilst travelling the world, Surf Liquor founder Jonathan Cosserat saw his road trip come to a halt on the sunny West Coast of carefree California where he found himself spent out. Inspired by the culture, lifestyle and community of the area, Jon took up work at an old liquor store, which ultimately provided the name and inspiration for his brand, Surf Liquor. Drawing its identity from the laid back Golden State way of life, the brand has become the perfect blend of classic Americana and vintage skate and surfwear. The full collection for SS/14 continues to reign throughout its US home of sand and palms, and Surf Liquor has now hit our UK shores and stores!

As part of Surf Liquor’s SS/14 collection, the brand have also teamed up with renowned Brixton based woodworker; Satta Skates to create a limited edition, hand-crafted 'Cruiser Deck'. The decks will be an exclusive collection of 10 handmade boards, each uniquely shaped and stamped with a number from 1-10. The decks have been individually crafted using Sapele and Walnut wood with Oak stringers and 56mm Cadillac Wheels.

To celebrate Surf Liquor's arrival in our green and pleasant land, we convinced them to give us one of their Satta Skates collab boards to give away to one of you lucky folks. To win a deck, you've got to get as hyped on summer as we are right now, and send us your best summer photo sets, preferably taken on good old fashioned 35mm film (it's the look we like!), then uploaded to Flickr and linked to us or sent to us in a .zip file at pickme@dontpaniconline.com. We'll share our favourites here, and pick our favourite one around three weeks from now. Get to it!

Here's the new collection, btw:

Don't Panic attempt to credit photographers and content owners wherever possible, however due to the sheer size and nature of the internet this is sometimes impractical or impossible. If you see any images on our site which you believe belong to yourself or another and we have incorrectly used it please let us know at panic@dontpaniconline.com and we will respond asap.
