NASA have discovered a few exoplanets, with a little help from their Kepler space telescope - (an exoplanet is a planet that orbits a star outside the solar system, yes I had to Google it). The space telescope has actually found 8 potentially habitable exoplanets.
To celebrate this wonderful astronomical find, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory shared these posters with us, which should excite those of you interested in a little space travel, as they show what it would be like to visit these exoplanets on holiday. So stop imagining yourself on a sunbed by the sea and start imagining yourself roughly 1,200 trillions miles away.
