SISTINE CHAPEL 3D EXPERIENCE

It's all great surfing the web to find out about the latest Nike releases or what Bieber's eaten for breakfast, but sometimes we just need some down time away from all the tweeting. Say the internet is a booming house party - sometimes you just need to go to the 'chilled' room where people are lying on top of each other listening to Sigur Ros and talking about the amazing time they had at Stonehenge for the summer solstice.

Anyho, I found a place in cyber land that can be your secret retreat. It's the Sistine Chapel 3D experience coming straight from the pope's front room. Yep, you can now explore the gaff online. I stumbled upon this site and found my small haven of sanity. It's pretty neat actually, because you can zoom into the most tiniest details on the walls whilst listening to angels singing from heaven. The whole thing's slightly eerie and you feel as if you've entered some Second Life kinda world but it's great if you ever wondered what it looked like inside.

It's great for those who enjoy the finer things in life; online. So if you studied history of art or you're overly religious and miss the Vatican then turn up your speakers and let the angels in here. It's also probably quite cool if you're smoking the devil's lettuce. Amen.
