SKATEBOARDS BY PROJECT LOOP

Project LOOP is a non-profit organisation which gives kids a chance to participate in a variety of creative activities. It's based in Taylor, Texas, which happens to be the hometown of Tex Avery - the guy who created Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes.

Wanting to nurture the zany spirit of Taylor's most famous son, LOOP has always called on artists to inspire youngsters who may not be aware of their hometown's animated history. This year, they asked a few creative types to design a skateboard deck, which were then auctioned off to raise money for a new skate park. So even if Taylor doesn't produce another Tex Avery, at least their younger residents will be able to shred.

Check out the designs below. For more info head to the LOOP website.
