SKATEPARK ID CARDS

I just read a feature on Vice about the photographer Stacy Kranitz, who spent a summer shooting skaters at a place called Skatopia. As it's an anarchist commune in rural Ohio replete with good looking teens and gnarly bowls, there's a load of great imagery and footage of it that's well worth searching out.

In my online travels through Skatopia, I came across a few collections of old skatepark ID cards. Most of them seem to be from the 70s and 80s, and there's a couple of famous faces strewn throughout the bunch. I'm extremely indebted to No ID No Skate for many of them, a site which is still like the internet in 1995. Gold.

Don't Panic attempt to credit photographers and content owners wherever possible, however due to the sheer size and nature of the internet this is sometimes impractical or impossible. If you see any images on our site which you believe belong to yourself or another and we have incorrectly used it please let us know at panic@dontpaniconline.com and we will respond asap.
