TATE BRITAIN AFTER DARK - VIEWING ART VIA NOCTURNAL ROBOTS

If you enter an art gallery these days, you'll see many a punter viewing the works through their phone. That's because everyone knows art looks better on a four inch screen. Taking this idea to new heights, London design studio The Workers has teamed up with Tate Britain to give you the chance to explore the magnificent collection via a screen.

During After Dark Robots, equipped with streaming cameras, will roam Tate Britain at night - starting at 10 pm this evening. The footage will be accompanied by commentary from experts too. Come 10 pm, you can access the stream here.

My anti-camera purism aside, it's a novel way to avoid crowds, and seeing the art under a spotlight will no doubt reveal new perspectives.
