TATE TRACKS - DEEPART VS PABLO PICASSO

Recently the Tate Modern got together with some rather large names in music, including Klaxons, Roll Deep and The Long Blondes to work on a ground-breaking project called Tate Tracks.

The idea was that the music acts would write and record a track inspired by a work of art of their choice. Now the Tate is opening up the project so that every Tom, Dick and Martha on Myspace can have a go. Genius of folly? You decide. We've gone all multimedia - check out the artwork, listen to the tracks and decide if they do each other justice. Leave your comments below.

The track on this page is by a band called deepart who have used Pablo Picasso and his oil on canvas Bust of a Woman for their inspiration.
