We're a nation of photo fanatics: Perhaps now more than ever before with the introduction of smartphones and 'selfies'. We upload millions of square photographs with vintage filters everyday. Constantly snapping our social lives, our private lives and the lives of other people at the click of a button. But what if you were to put down your smartphone and pick up an original Polaroid camera so that you can start making real photos. Photos that develop in the palm of your hand.

For a truly original photograph that cannot be replicated there is still no bettering the beautiful (and sometimes beautifully unpredictable) result that occurs when shooting with an original Polaroid camera and Impossible film.

To celebrate International Photography Day, The Impossible Project have created an Instant Film and Camera Starter Pack that makes photography exciting again.

The Starter Pack consists of a Polaroid 600 camera and three packs of film (or just the film, for anyone fortunate enough to already have a Polaroid camera knocking about). Each film comes with tips on how to make the most of every photograph: how to work with the light, ideal shooting temperatures and how to care for your photographs as they develop.

The magic of shooting instant film far surpasses any digital photography, instant film uses chemistry to capture the light, which means each photo is unique, and cannot be replicated.

With this starter pack you will learn to value every shot, and make sure none are wasted!

Both packs are available online at www.the-impossible-project.com

Don't Panic attempt to credit photographers and content owners wherever possible, however due to the sheer size and nature of the internet this is sometimes impractical or impossible. If you see any images on our site which you believe belong to yourself or another and we have incorrectly used it please let us know at panic@dontpaniconline.com and we will respond asap.
