THE PAPER PULP HELMET

I think we can all agree that no one has ever had sex because of a bicycle helmet. They're unwieldy, ugly things that make you look like your mummy strapped a special booboo protector on your noggin so you didn't get an ouchy. In the spirit it of "fuck it, we're not going to get any anyway", some bright sparks decided to start producing paper pulp helmets that apparently work fine and have the added bonus of making you look like a member of the Vietcong. From their site:

The Paper pulp moulded helmet is made from discarded newspapers that currently circulate the London transport network. The helmets can be produced on a large scale using little energy and can be dispensed in conjunction with the Barclays bicycle hire scheme to help encourage safety among cycle hire users. Each Helmet will cost under £1 to produce, making it much cheaper and more environmentally friendly than anything else on the market.
