THIS CHINESE RIP OFF OF MAD MAX LOOKS AMAZING

With the Mad Max: Fury Road – Black & Chrome edition yet to hit shelves in the UK, we finally have something to tide us over until its release; Mad Shelia (a beautiful yet unsubtle reference) is China's answer to George Miller’s high-octane romp from 2015.

From the initial trailer and the poster, it looks apparent that whoever is behind this has blatantly riped off the tone and aesthetic of the original. However, after watching the trailer, it looks as if Mad Shelia could actually be a lot madder than the original? In terms of China adopting something and really cranking it up a notch, see also: capitalism.

In any case, I’m all for China doing more rip-off features, even more so if they were to tackle crap Hollywood blockbusters. Who wouldn’t want to see a knock off Suicide Squad or Gods of Egypt?
