A new YouTube channel called Memory Hole is doing the Lord's work. It's subverting the mawkish nostalgia we have for the 90s by corrupting footage from the era with extremely cack-handed strokes of the post-prod brush.
All the clips look like they're pinched from America's Funniest Home Videos, and every one seems to be the bastard progeny of some Lynchian nightmare. But then people weren't filming everything back then, so it really had to be especially weird if you felt the need to submit it to primetime television.
