We're in one of the best cities in the world, and you can count on the capital to deliver the odd weird, wacky and wonderful event. We've discovered, for instance, that on Valentines Day this year you can do yoga, rave and eat delicious falafel all under one roof?! Honestly, if yoga, dancing and chickpea based foods are your three favourite things then we have just found the event of your dreams.
Apparently the event will consist of a 2 hour YogaBeats session with Yoga Elder David Sye, after which food will be served. Carefully curated visuals, live music and DJ sets will then take you into 'the rave' from 3pm - 9pm and holistic therapies available throughout.
David Sye's YogaBeats promises a mix of club music genres and dance classics to encourage 'spontaneous physical 'moves and grooves' and 'to create an instant personal 'high' in each practitioner'. We're thinking Marc Corrigan
at Rainbow Rhythms but you're probably better dancers than us.
Important: All proceeds from Yoga Rave go to two charities: CAREducation and SCT. CAREducation is a grass root’s charity building schools for kids & SCT supports homeless people in the local community, providing an vocational training and helping them to integrate back into society.
