Nestled in the breasts of the spectacular Brecon Beacons, the site is a treat for the voyeur. With mountainous hills, lush green glades and big ass oak trees there is no better setting for a folky weekend of music, food, dance, film, comedy and literature.
Green Man is a festival that we have witnessed grow and develop each time around and entering it's 13th year it's about to deliver us it's best party yet. With an impressive lineup of bands and DJs from the beating sounds of Jamie XX to Shoegaze pioneers Slowdrive the festival offers delights for all. Headlined by Super Furry Animals and embezzled with the likes of St Vincent, GOAT, Sylvan Esso, Hot Chip and 2 Bears we can't see a reason why anyone would want to leave the stages.
Except that Green Man have put on a spread other tantalizing distractions to lure you away from the Mountain's Foot and into the surrounds of the other festival domains. With a line-up of comedians at Babbling Tongues and hot spa's on offer in the open air of the Nature Nurture area there are hourly pleasures available to you.
You can find us sinking our teeth into a local beef burger or swigging on some fresh organic cider - the Becon's favourite tipple - in the Walled Garden before we embark on a boozy night of dancing at somewhere Far Out.
The full line-up of artists, musicians and comedians is available via the website http://www.greenman.net with more information on each of the areas and tickets available to buy now.
