On the Thursday hip-hop heads will be happy to see the HMS High Focus taking to the Adriatic Sea with all the crew aboard, you can expect some jazzy sunshine vibes from High Focus residents the Four Owls latest LP. If hop-hop isn’t your bag fear not as all bases are covered with Seven Davis jr and Kutmah bringing some more pre weekend jams on the Body Tonic and Strangeways boat, as well as the Noisia Treo going B2B with the Upbeats on the Noisia Invites boat.

Looking on to Friday things start to get a little harder with parties headed up by the likes of Icicle, Benton, Kode 9 and Bristol heavyweights Khan and Neek. Lovers of drum and bass and grime will be in no shortage of options to test their see legs. For those seeking some refuge from the heavier side of things, Norman Jay will be kicking it on his Good Times boat playing the full 3 hours of the party.

The standard remains extremely high for the rest of the weekend’s voyages, highlights include drum and bass legend Goldie (who will be appearing on a number of boats) laying down a hip-hop set on the Work it boat as well as Silkie and Quest taking the helm of the Anti Social Boat on Saturday. A mention must also be given to Outlook favourite Channel One Soundsytem who will be bringing Solo Banton and Dubkasm along for the ride.

I have not evening begun to scratch the surface of all the incredible parties that will be going on at this years Outlook but if you are heading for Pula this September I really couldn’t suggest checking one of the boar parties enough.
