Field Day is returning to London for its 10th year this weekend, Vicky Park will see two days of the finest selection of fresh music. PJ Harvey and James Blake headline the weekend and the talent does not falter from there. The line-up is an impenetrable chain of the best of today.
One of the things we love about Field Day is the diversity of their line-up, something that sets them apart from other day festival competetors.
With some of the biggest artists in the world right now (see Skepta, James Blake etc) play alongside bands we've been dying to see for years (Beach House, GOAT, Yeasayer) and some of the freshest acts in the scene (Kelela, NAO, Lil Simz) it's going to be hard to choose which stage to stop at.
We're hoping for good weather but if it rains, we'll let ATA KAK (Awsome Tapes from Africa) and Mbongwana Star transport us to a hotter continent with their music.
If we get a moment to peel ourselves away from the bands, you'll find us chowing down on some street food from Street Feast and Venn Street Market and supping on some cold craft beers.
Tickets are still available for both days and the weekend so if you've got no plans for the weekend, or if your plans aren't very good, change that now!
