WILDCAT: ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING

Funded by the US military's out-there research arm, DARPA, WildCat uses a combination of galloping and bounding to move and gain speed and can recover from from stumbles and falls easily.

It’s still not apparent what applications WildCat will have once fully developed (although one guess is to carry military equipment in war zones if it stops sounding like a lawnmower), but DARPA has previously said that WildCat's predecessor Cheetah could be used for “emergency response, firefighting, advanced agriculture and vehicular travel.”

Imagine being relentlessly persued through the night by this cold, unfeeling, headless robot. It never forgives, it never forgets etc etc.
