FORMER POWER RANGER SENTENCED TO DEATH

How the mighty have fallen.

A former Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers actor has been sentenced to death for the murder of boat owners Tom and Jackie Hawks of Prescott, Arizona.

In 2004, 29-year old Skylar Deleon went on a cruise with the couple on their yacht under the guise of looking to buy it. He then overpowered the couple, tied them to the anchor, and threw them overboard. The bodies were never found. Then, Deleon and wife-at-the-time Jennifer Henderson scrubbed the boat with bleach in Newport Harbor, Orange County.

The defense asked for a life sentence from the jury, claiming a childhood of abuse and neglect led to his actions, but they weren't into it, and opted for the chair, because California's a laugh like that.

It's worth mentioning that this case is joked about in an episode of Robot Chicken, which is pretty funny.

Here's a picture of Skylar in less death-sentence-y times:

I'm worried that the jury didn't consider the possibility that he was framed by Bulk and Skull.
