Stokes Croft is home to some of the best food in the South West and you don’t have to look far for the best burger you’ve ever had – The Hobgoblin and Atomic Burger are true patrons to the hungry and hungover.
But my lovely burger lovers, something bigger is coming this April. MEATliquor. Oh yes.
It started off as a MeatWagon back in 2009 with the two founders Yianni Papoutsis and Scott Collins but now MEATliquor have grilled their way the 6th best burger bar in London.
They’ve got restaurants in Brixton, Brighton, Hoxton and more but will be taking inspiration from Bristol’s own vibes with graffiti from Bristol’s own street artist, Inkie.
The menu looks great – lots of halloumi, jalapenos, bacon and a mysterious dead hippie sauce, (must check that out) - and it'll all be sourced from local suppliers. The cocktails look even better, can’t eat a good meal without a good cocktail – almost scientific fact.
You can find MEATliquor at 77 Stokes Croft. Watch their #TheMEATliquorChronicles trailer below to give you a little taster.
Keep yourself updated on their Bristol Twitter page and check out their menu.
