People love beer. And not just in a 'let's drink until we forget words' sort of way. These days, regular folk are just as likely to sample beers in a manner better suited to wine tasters or card-carrying CAMRA members in Deep Purple t-shirts. That's why the next few days will see LONDON BEER WEEK roll into Newburgh Street, Soho.
The hub of the event will be placed at 14 Newburgh St. You can grab a wristband there, then use that to benefit from a variety of discounts at local pubs - as well as a bunch of nearby events and tastings. There'll also be something called a Pop-up Hobo Saloon in 33 Marshall Street, where you can bring your own food and drink Boliermakers (Beer and a shot of whiskey) until you're kindly asked to vacate the premises.
LBW runs until the 22 February. Head to the website for more info.
