AFROMAN ENSURES FINISHED CAREER IS WELL AND TRULY FINISHED

Perhaps it's not surprising given our taste for nostalgia, but Afroman has actually toured fairly consistently since he released 'Because I Got High'. However, that stream of steady income is about to come to an end. During a show in Biloxi, Mississippi, last night, Afroman aka Joseph Edgar Foreman punched a woman on stage with the kind of force befitting a prize fighter.

I don't think the jury will accept 'because I got high' as mitigation for this horrendous assault.

Witnesses say Afroman kept performing despite the semi-conscious, bleeding woman next to him. He only stopped when the venue turned the lights up. He was arrested outside the venue.

Afroman's rep said the rapper simply reacted to an intruder on stage, claiming he had no idea whether it was a man or a woman. Whatever the case, I don't think he'll have to worry about being on a stage for a very long time.
