You might know Blanck Mass' Benjamin John Power as one half of Fuck Buttons, a Bristol-born noise collaboration with Andrew Hung, who made the strange leap from critical darlings to prominently featured in the 2012 London Olympics. However, the truism that mainstream attentions dulls an artist's work certainly hasn't applied to Power, whose music as Blanck Mass retains the heaviness of his other project as well as more thoughtful, melodic elements. He's just announced new album World Eater, out in early March via Sacred Bones, and has made Silent Treatment and Please available to stream. We're really looking forward to hearing the full length:
