PEOPLE OF BRISTOL (and elsewhere). Saturday 28 November will see a night of big beats, bass & brass in the magnificent Spiegeltent on Bristol Harbourside.
UK dance music veteran Greg Wilson will be headlining, with excellent support from London’s hottest brass band outfit Hackney Colliery Band, Bristol’s afrobeat collective No Go Stop, and sure-fire party starters Bodywork.
For those who don't know, Greg Wilson is widely considered to be one of the UK's most important DJs. Spinning tunes since '75, Greg became a pioneer of the 80s dance music scene, taking up a residency at the Hacienda in '83. After a break of almost 20 years, Greg re-emerged in 2003 and hasn’t stopped racking up international acclaim and an ever growing dance music legacy.
On top of this, he's remixed tracks for the likes of The XX, Grace Jones, Talking Heads & Groove Armada, playing to crowds all over the world and creating a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.
Basically, it's the first step to making this the best Christmas ever.
