CONFESSIONS OF A DJ: CRAZY P

1. Wham – Young Guns
I loved Wham, still do...so not such a guilty pleasure. I wanted to be either Pepsi or Shirley. Just to own one of those vest tops and cheap pastel bangles they wore.

2. Paul Young – Come Back and Stay
My only real crush as a teenager and thought he might one day come to his senses and find me in north Manchester! Never happened-probably for the best.

3. Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince – Summertime
There used to be a pop in bar in Castlefield Manchester called Canteena, which was like an old army tent. They did great food and even better booze. It was a bed of mischief and many runtimes. A guy called Mogsy used to play down there and I remember him fondly dropping this in the brightest of sunshine-felt right!

4. Rhianna – Umbrella
Annoyingly infectious. Cant really elaborate on that...ella ella ella ella etc.

5. Donna Summer – Dinner with Gershwin
This isn't really a guilty pleasure its just a bloody good pop song. The queen of disco turns out quality tunes again and again!

In under two weeks Crazy P will be playing at the sell out Gottwood festival, joining the likes of Tale of Us, Stephen Bodzin, Calibre, Craig Richards, and many more. Don't Panic will be covering the festival and certainly can't wait! Festival season is upon us.
