The teams receive help and advice from high profile mentors along the way, and are judged on their success and creativity at every stage of the challenge.
Having already tackled the early stages of online promotion, the second stage of the challenge sees the teams set about smashing the pants off their physical promo duties – taking creative steps to ensure that their voices and visions are heard above the noise of the city.
London team ‘The Big Smoke’ stays true to it’s name by pumping bright red smoke out of the iconic Truman Brewery in London’s uber-cool East End for the first time in 26 years – a signal fire for an explosive party to come.
Meanwhile, Bristol gang ‘Shifted Spaces’ transforms an unassuming stretch of the Bristol harbour-side into a show-stopping wunderclub – with the help of an old naval Boat and enough strobes to trigger epileptic fits as far as Cardiff.
Lastly, Manc lads ‘Rain City Movement’ utilise a mobile digital billboard to broadcast their individual brand and message to the party-goers of Manchester.
Each of the three groups will conclude their challenge by throwing a gargantuan party of their own in each of their respective hometowns. The parties will take place in London, Bristol and Manchester on Thursday 27th August. For more information, visit http://ukf.com/cityhack/
