FEVER RAY BOYCOTT 'SEXIST' GRAMMY AWARDS

In 2007 Swedish electro duo The Knife won six Grammy Awards for best Artist, Composer, Album, Producer, DVD and Group for their album Silent Shout.
However, Rabid Records, The Knife's label as well as that of solo project of Karin Dreijer Andersson (the second half of The Knife), Fever Ray (one of the most successful Swedish artists of 2009), have decided not to participate in the Swedish Grammy Awards of 2010 because they believe it's not fair to divide music up between the sexes such as female and male artist of the year.
Rabid Records have also stated that they won't nominate Fever Ray since record labels have to pay to get their artists to participate in the awards. Self indulgent nitpicking or righteous cause?
