HEAVENLY FATHER, THE TRACK BON IVER WROTE FOR ZACH BRAFF'S NEW FILM

I'd rather a people carrier reverse over me than see Wish I Was Here, Zach Braff's new film. His twee, mawkish humour really grates on me, and the sappy messages which round off everything he appears in disagree with my cynical outlook on life.

Having said that, I am a big fan of Bon Iver, as they're one of the few remaining bands who can create a cohesive album from start to finish. This is a big deal when you almost exclusively listen to top 40 hip-hop. Heavenly Father is as haunting and ethereal as you'd expect, although it does sound like there's a guy in the back mashing his palm on a vocoder, which is a bonus.
