Artist Reuben Dangoor is saluting Grime's crucial role in British culture by reimagining its key players as globe-conqeuring historical figures. Skepta can be seen atop a noble steed, Union Jack in hand, pondering the green and pleasant land before him. D Double E poses in full regalia, presumably after besting a foe with 100 slaps like E Honda.

Finally Stormzy looks at rest in his parlour, sipping a cup of tea in front of the fire. Follow Reuben on Instagram to keep up with the series.

As an aside, Reuben is also the man behind internet collosus 'Being a Dickhead's Cool.'
