KANYE WEST'S SECRET HISTORY

We all know that Kanye is to thank for the recent spiritual and cultural highs we’ve experienced: Kim Kardashian being blessed with a child, planet earth being blessed with 2 Chainz. But now some dude called J. Period has popped up and decided to undo all of Yeezy’s good work. He’s spoiled a perfectly good remix of GOOD Music’s Cruel Summer by including this old unreleased track featuring the rapper Consequence.

Apparently back in the 80s or something Kanye used to team up with these rappers Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and this guy Consequence. A lot of his songs were about weird shit, like ‘insecurity’, ‘religion’, ‘injustice’, and a bunch of other stuff no one cares about. He also had a girlfriend then, but she wasn’t famous or even on the E! Network. Unsurprisingly, this ‘Hold On’ track makes for uneasy listening.

Don’t worry - the entire album, featuring all the GOOD music remixes, is available on iTunes.
