Google has launched a cool little site that takes you on a guided tour of the hallowed Abbey Road Studios, where the Beatles recorded some of their finest records, and where Kid Rock mixed 'Bawitdaba'. The interactive website is a must for any Beatles fan who can't make it down to London, or any music aficionado who can't leave the house due to court sanctions or failed CRB checks.
Head over to Abbey Road Studios by clicking this link.
As clever as the site is, it can't hold a candle to the lo-res webcam that livestreams footage of Spanish tourists attempting to recreate the famous cover of the Beatles' legendary 1969 album, Abbey Road. There may have been a day when the likes of Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Starr could confidently pose in the middle of the street, but now you're much more likely to get flattened by an Uber driver fiddling with his sat-nav.
Don't Panic attempt to credit photographers and content owners wherever possible, however due to the sheer size and nature of the internet this is sometimes impractical or impossible. If you see any images on our site which you believe belong to yourself or another and we have incorrectly used it please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond asap.
