NEW LABEL 'FUCK PUNK' ARE HERE TO FUCK WITH YOUR SHIT

New Bristol label ‘Fuck Punk’ stormed onto the scene last night with the release of ‘Pulse Marley’, a 50 second bastard splice of Pulse X and Bob Marley, degraded to 8kbps and cut to exclusive 5” see-through dubplate. The track is believed to have been written by two well-known Bristol producers, however their identities remain a secret. Twenty copies of the record went up for sale on RWD FWD last night and sold out instantly.

An A4 info sheet, leaked yesterday via local publication Tape-Echo, indicates that the label is run by DJ Ape and DJ Oa$is (aka Vessel and Ossia of Young Echo), and includes something of a mission statement:

“Music is here for the taking, and Fuck Punk wants it all. We want it hard, fast, sludgy as fuck.”

Rwd Fwd also listed five hand-illustrated TPs of the label’s second release, “Sleng Again”, which comprises two raw, disorted takes on the Sleng Teng riddim by Oa$is and Ape themselves. These also sold out instantly.

The label has published its forthcoming release schedule, which includes new records by Giant Swan and Vessel, as well as a whole host of unfamiliar names - (names that we predict may not be as unfamiliar as they initially seem...)
