In a new interview for Noisey, Noel Gallagher revealed that he destroyed an entire 'space rock' album recorded alongside electronic duo Amorphous Androgynous.
The collaborative album was made prior to Noel’s first solo album. During the interview, Noel complained that he felt like he was being used to produce an album for the duo - and for those unfamiliar with Noel, that’s definitely not his style. He ended up destroying the entire project, without even showing it to his producer.
Noel's comments follow a blog post by Amorphous Androgynous, who accuse Noel of being incapable of expanding his range and trying new things. And nobody gets away with calling a Gallagher stale without facing a backlash.
The new interview goes on to cover Noel's new album, his collaborative work with Johnny Marr, and his potential collaboration with previous Britpop rival Damon Albarn. Check the full interview below:
