For those of you who haven’t witnessed the colourful chaos of the PEOPLE’S FRONT ROOM at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Shambala and the like then have no fear, for on Saturday 12th of March they are coming en masse to Bristol’s very own Mr Wolfs. Indeed the festival season is starting early this year as for one night only the city-centre venue will be totally transformed into a psychedelic 19th century salon. A unique and immersive musical journey will begin around 8pm as the in-house collective of 40 musicians supply a constant flow of spontaneous and unique new music. Forget the usual band-by-band set up and expect to watch the space between the performers and audience dissolve into a world of incredible variety and creativity.
The crew have been touring the UK’s major festivals for over a decade, living, working and playing together as a family. The PFR totally encapsulates the festival ethos of progressive and artistic ingenuity, and will be bringing full festival décor, a glitter bar and a tequila bar too. So don your craziest colours, paint your faces and expect to have all of your senses thrown into overdrive at a night that you'd regret to miss.
Featuring: BOMBS // Cat Brooks // Chaz Thorogood // Jez Sings Things // The Psychedelic Monks // Nick Robinson & Charlie Allen (The Left Bank Jam Band) // Three London Planes // Andrew Neil Hayes (Schoolboy's Death Trio) // HeyBus // Alba // China Bowls
