Not so, apparently.
According to the Wall Street Journal, 50 aka Curtis Jackson, has filed for bankruptcy. The files noted that Jackson claimed assets and debts each in the range of $10 million to $50 million. The filing comes soon after a jury ordered 50 to pay $5 million in damages to a woman who sued over a leaked sex tape.
Now I'm no financial expert, but maybe declaring bankruptcy is a wise move. He probably owns a few properties outright, as well as a bunch of cars, artistic rights and Vitamin Water, thus maybe his advisor suggested this move so the banks would be obligated to clear his debts. Is that how it works?
