No one expected Rick Ross to get his significantly less chubby mits (shouts to all the pears) on Adele's new chartbusting mega anthem 'Hello', but here we are. Sensibly, Rozay doesn't really do much to it. But what he does do really takes it to new heights.
His singular verse could almost be described as tender - maybe even vulnerable, if you want to go there. But that's relative to the rest of his output. The main effect of Ross' contribution is how it takes a typical Adele BELTER and turns it into an unexpected street confession, one that might make your mum switch it off.
Which is a good thing.
